CRAP Web Design Principles - Group Project

As part of my Web and Mobile Development II class, we worked in groups to produce a site that taught users about the CRAP web design principles. I served as the information architect, developing the high-fidelity wireframes and overall site layout and interaction; additionally, I worked with our graphic designer to develop a clear hierarchy of information. Below is an embed of our design doc, that explains the overall goals of the project, some personas developed by other team members, our style guide developed by our graphic desinger, and my wireframes.

I worked hard to develop userful and clear layouts for both desktop and mobile layouts, thinking carefully about what could be added for aesthetics for the desktop layout, but omitted for simplicity on a mobile device. Beyond the layout of the pages and styling, I also helped design the functions used to calculate the contrast checker. The proved quite challenging as I had to teach myself color theory and ensure all the complicated mathematical formulas ran correctly.
